Notice: who performs the water damage work
Read this before you rely on Boise City Water Damage Restoration. We are a call-taking and referral service for water damage in Boise City, Ada County and the nearby Treasure Valley. We have no employees who pump out water, place drying machines, measure moisture or rebuild walls. Every request goes to an independent, licensed local contractor, our partner for that one job, and that contractor alone is answerable for the inspection it makes, the figure it quotes, the machines it sets and the quality of what it leaves behind.
On the regulatory position in Idaho: contractors are registered rather than licensed, under Idaho Code Title 54, Chapter 52, with the Idaho Contractors Board in charge. Whether pulling water out, running dryers or treating mold falls within that registration is a question we could not settle, and we found no state licence for mold at all. Boise City Water Damage Restoration and this site hold no registration, bond or insurance of their own and do not claim any. A plumber, an electrician or a roofer who repairs the cause is a separate business.
If you want a licence or registration number for any part of the work, call (833) 490-5225 or ask when the technician contacts you, and it will be read out to you. The number stays off this site as a matter of privacy for the private business concerned. The price is not shown here either: you receive your own in writing before work begins, and whether your policy pays anything is for your insurer to decide.

Prices are estimates
Price ranges are typical estimates for our service area in 2026. They are not quotes or offers. Your price is confirmed in person before any work starts.
Safety around water damage
Standing water can hide live electrical circuits: do not walk into a flooded room until power to that area is off. Sewage and floodwater (IICRC Category 3) can carry bacteria and viruses; keep children, pets and anyone with a weak immune system away, and do not handle contaminated materials without protection. Visible mold larger than a small patch should be assessed before anyone disturbs it. When in doubt, leave the area and call a professional.
Licensing, standards and insurance
Repair and reconstruction work in Idaho is regulated by that state's contractor licensing board. The IICRC S500 (water damage) and S520 (mold remediation) standards are industry guidance, not government licenses. Insurance coverage is decided by your insurer under your policy; nothing on this Site is a promise of coverage or of a claim outcome, and information here is a summary, not legal or insurance advice.
